Family to Family
We connect a Colombian family affected by the earthquake with a sponsor family somewhere else in the world. We verify what we can, we make one introduction, and then we step out of the way. The friendship, the help, and every decision after that belong to the two families.
How it works
- An affected family registers and goes through our verification: Colombian ID checked against government records, a photo holding a one-time code, a callback to their Colombian phone, and — for the highest tier — a live video walk-through with our team.
- Every application is reviewed by our local team in Colombia, working with Andrea's network of churches, schools, and community leaders — identity checks and an in-person or video verification before a family is listed.
- The sponsor requests an introduction. The Colombian family sees who is asking and says yes or no — nothing happens without their yes.
- We send one introduction email connecting you both, with a conversation guide and a safety sheet each. That email is the last thing we do.
After the introduction we do not read your messages, we do not handle your money, and we are not part of the relationship. A report channel stays open forever if anything ever feels wrong.

To protect the families, the list is visible only to sponsors who have verified their identity. Anyone can apply to sponsor — the families themselves are never shown publicly.
What our verification means — and what it does not
Every listed family passed identity verification against Colombian government records. "Verified by the program" additionally means our team did a live video walk-through of their situation. It does NOT mean we guarantee anyone: read the sponsor terms before requesting an introduction.
